 Wisdom Teeth:::Advantages and Disadvantages::: an Overview 



Among the canine, In canine, Molar and premolars the third molar tooth  that is the Wisdom teeth is the last set of the teeth to grow out .Most probably it  happens at the age of seventeen and twenty five.most people have four wisdom teeth and there is a chance to have more or fewer .It is debated that these teeth if it is not  completely grown it will sometimes  harm. One of the major reasons is  due to that there is a lack of space for them to grow up this might be due insufficient space for them to grow in dental arch or their growth might be inhibited either by gum or by oral bones . hence it is advised to  removed out the Wisdom teeth as sometimes it becomes problematic when not properly treated.So therefore it is very important to quote that the incomplete growth might lead to serious problems.People residing in U.S cities like Monument and Cimarron Hills, sometimes  prefer to remove these improperly grown Wisdom teeth for the better sake of their oral health .However this process has its own advantages and disadvantages.







Advantages:-

1) Stinky odor: Wisdom teeth have foul smell which is mainly due to fact that it exerts pressure to the surrounding teeth which leads to crooked teeth.


2) Inaccessibility: -  Wisdom teeth are very difficult to brush and if not properly brushed it will pave way to bacterial infection due to accumulation of acids and sugar intake. Cavity formation can lead to the destruction of your total Oral system.






On the other hand , removing wisdom teeth has some Disadvantages. Some of them are:


1.      Complexity in removing wisdom teeth : Wisdom tooth extraction may vary from simple to even more complex, respective of their shape, size, and their location. Even for the simple removal there exist a chance for severe Bleeding and sometimes even the Jawbone can ache. Sometimes oral nerves will be affected by this and a numbness will be resulted.


2.   Complications emerge at older ages: There is a chance for more complications to arise in old age as when the oral bone density increases the chance of removing Wisdom teeth decreases as in the old age the oral system becomes more sensitive and the chance of risk is being high.

Hence before removing Wisdom teeth kindly consider all the above mentioned keypoint and make sure that you are at the right place and your dentist  has professional experience in this field  


How to safeguard your teeth?

1)Brush twice a day:-  Try to brush at least twice a day and rinse thoroughly using mouthwash .If more the result would be better.

2)Consume fruits:  Fruits are rich with Vitamins that is essential for better function of teeth

3) Avoid Tobacco:-Avoid tobacco and their products that will definitely harms your teeth.

4)Have less caffeine:-Stimulants such as Cofee,Tea and other drinks like wine can stain your teeth.so avoid them or consume them using a straw.
